Blood Donation Initiatives

At our Shiga and Tokyo Factories, employees regularly participate in blood donation initiatives. The Shiga Factory began these activities shortly after its establishment in 1966, and its longstanding commitment has been widely recognized. and received a commendation from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare for its proactive support in 2021.

Cleanup Activities Around Roads, Rivers, and Lakes

Our employees actively engage in ongoing cleanup efforts around our factories, contributing to the beautification and environmental health of local communities.

Environmental and Educational Engagement
(e² Initiative)

Since 2015, the Freudenberg Group has promoted the e² (e-squared) initiative, encouraging employees to participate in nonprofit activities focused on education and the environment.
This program also provides financial support to help sustain these efforts.

Tree Planting Activities

The Freudenberg Group called on its global group companies to participate in tree planting activities in 2019, its 170th anniversary.
Japan Vilene Group joined efforts across various regions, including a disaster prevention forest project in Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture.
Together, the Freudenberg Group planted approximately 20,000 trees worldwide.

Support for Children’s Welfare Facilities

Japan Vilene Group and Freudenberg Group companies in Japan collaborated with the NPO “Playground of Hope” to install playground equipment at Kishiwada Gakuen, a children’s welfare facility in Osaka Prefecture in May 2023.
We also partnered with the NPO “Mirai no Mori” to offer corporate visit programs for young people with promising futures, and participated in forest management activities alongside children in November 2024 and May 2025.
