Basic Approach

At Japan Vilene, we view compliance as a fundamental pillar of our corporate activities, ensuring strict adherence to laws and regulations as well as corporate ethics.
In order to achieve sustainable growth in a constantly evolving social and economic environment, it is essential that all employees maintain a strong awareness of compliance and act appropriately in their daily work.
Based on this understanding, we are implementing the following initiatives:

Establishment and Promotion of a Code of Conduct

We have clearly defined a code of conduct that all employees must follow and are working to ensure its thorough understanding and implementation.

Operation of a Whistleblower System

We have introduced internal reporting channels that allow employees to report misconduct or legal violations at an early stage, thereby strengthening our compliance framework.

Compliance Training Programs

Through regular training sessions, we aim to raise employees’ awareness of compliance and promote appropriate behavior in their daily operations.

Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct of Freudenberg is based on Guiding Principles and Business Principles. It is binding for all associates and is intended to enable them to handle ethical and legal questions in an ppropriate manner.

Code of Conduct

Compliance Promotion Framework

To establish and enhance legal compliance, fairness, and ethical standards, we have set up a CSR Committee and adopted Guiding Principles, clearly expressing our stance on CSR.
We have also set up a Code of Conduct as the fundamental principles that employees of Japan Vilene and its group companies must follow, and we promote awareness through training and other initiatives.
In addition, we have established an Internal Auditing Department, which conducts regular audits of Japan Vilene and its group companies to ensure compliance and operational integrity.

Employee Education and Training

We conduct regular compliance education and training for all employees.
These programs are designed to enhance awareness of legal compliance and corporate ethics, and to encourage appropriate behavior in daily operations.
Training content is based on the latest laws and regulations and includes practical case studies to ensure relevance and applicability.

Whistleblower System

To detect and prevent legal violations and misconduct at an early stage, we have established a whistleblower system.
Employees can report issues anonymously, and strict measures are in place to protect whistleblowers.
This system contributes to fostering a transparent and ethical corporate culture.

Additionally, within the Freudenberg Group, we have established Ethics Offices.
These serve as confidential contact points for employees and third parties (such as business partners) to report actual or potential violations of laws or the Guiding Principles.
The Ethics Offices play a key role in safeguarding the values and principles of the Freudenberg Group.
