Japan Vilene Co., Ltd.
An employee of Japan Vilene Company, Ltd.’s Shiga Factory received a Letter of Appreciation from the Governor of Shiga Prefecture at the FY2026 Shiga Prefecture Blood Donation Contribution Awards Ceremony held on July 14, 2026.
The award was granted following a recommendation from the Japanese Red Cross Society, Shiga Chapter, in recognition of the employee’s outstanding contribution to promoting blood donation activities at the Shiga Factory and serving as a role model for others.
The Shiga Factory has continuously supported blood donation programs since 1966 as part of its commitment to the local community. These long-standing efforts have previously been recognized by public authorities, including a commendation from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare in 2021.
We will continue contributing to society through blood donation programs and other community-oriented activities.
