As a Member of the Freudenberg Group
Through joint ventures with Freudenberg Performance Materials and Freudenberg Filtration Technologies—both global leaders in nonwovens and filtration and part of the Freudenberg Group—we have established a robust manufacturing and supply network for nonwoven-related products across Asia.
In addition, we operate a wholly owned owned subsidiary in Mexico for nonwoven production, enabling us to build a global supply network that includes the North American market. This structure allows us to deliver stable quality and prompt service to customers around the world.

Automotive Floor Mats
Our wholly owned group company, VIAM, manufactures and sells automotive floor mats designed to enhance the comfort of vehicle interiors.
Since the 1960s, Japan Vilene has been involved in automotive products, and in the 1970s, we began supplying floor mats as genuine parts for domestic automobile manufacturers. In 1983, we established a related company in California, USA, marking the start of our overseas expansion. Since then, we have continued to grow our network to meet the needs of global automotive manufacturers.
Our advanced products and services, backed by high quality standards, are widely adopted—especially by Japanese automakers—and are highly regarded for their comfort, durability, and environmental performance.

The VIAM Group operates a production and sales network across six countries: Japan, China, Thailand, the United States, Mexico, and Germany. This enables us to deliver products of consistent quality to customers worldwide.

Fibers
Within our group, we produce dope-dyed polyester fibers and recycled fibers, both of which are essential materials for manufacturing nonwoven fabrics. A portion of these fibers is used by Japan Vilene and other group companies engaged in nonwoven production, contributing to the advancement of product development across the group.
Global Network
Since integrating Oyama Chemical into our group in 1997—specializing in the production of dope-dyed and recycled polyester fibers—we have strengthened our fiber business by establishing a production company in Tennessee, USA. Additionally, we have built a production base through a group company in South Korea, enabling us to support supply needs in both North America and Korea.
